Coinbase announced yesterday that it plans on launching a marketplace to let users mint, collect and trade NFTs. The sales of NFTs have absolutely boomed recently with the NFT market topping $10 billion in transaction volume in the third quarter of 2021, according to DappRadar.
The popular cryptocurrency exchange said that its NFT marketplace will be called Coinbase NFT, and will include “social features” that tap into the creator economy. The term creator economy is used to describe the world of people who make money posting videos and other content online.
