In an effort to raise more money for Democratic candidates and causes, Front Row has announced yesterday that it will be launching the political world’s first “inaugural NFT marketplace” that will convert democratic memorabilia into “valuable digital assets” that boost support for the Democratic organization.
The marketplace; in partnership with the Texas Democratic Party, will sell “political digital relics” that support the party’s agenda, like protecting voting laws and pro-choice abortion laws.
NFT purchases will be the same as a campaign contribution, according to Axios. Which means that buyers and creators will have to adhere to campaign finance regulations.
