The SEC broadened the window to approve the ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF.The filing from the SEC on Tuesday detailed that it will push the deadline to decide on the ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF approval (or disapproval) to April 3.The original date was Feb 2nd. The SEC Assistant Secretary J. Matthew DeLesDernier wrote that it was “appropriate to designate a longer period” in regards to a proposed rule change to allow the ETF listing on the Cboe BZX Exchange. The SEC also extended its window on the proposed rule change as well. This rule would allow shares of an ETF that tracks Bitcoin futures from Teucrium to be listed on NYSE Arca. The firm is expected to receive a final decision by early in April by the SEC.
