Solana’s Metaplex has a new NFT collection from a non-profit called “Welcome to Chinatown”. The goal of the project is to “create a relief fund for struggling Chinese businesses in Manhattan.” according to YahooNews. If the project indeed helps struggling businesses it will be a win win win for NFTs Non-profits and the struggling businesses. What is not yet clear is how much money will actually be raised and what percent of that profit will actually be delivered to the businesses and how much benefit that money will actually be.
