House Speaker K. Joseph Sherkarchi told Providence Business News yesterday “We’re very close to being able to, in the month of January, release the framework of a bill that will begin a robust public hearing and vetting process,” Senate Majority Leader Michael J. McCaffrey backed up this news and added that “Once it goes through the hearing process, I think that it will pass in both chambers overwhelmingly,” This is starting to snowball as more and more State and Local legislatures are moving towards less restrictions on MJ.
