Chinese Official Expelled For Crypto Mining

The Central Committee of the CCP came down hard on an official after an investigation alleged unlawful crypto mining activities. 

The Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) are alleging an official from Jiangxi who is former vice-chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conferenceprovince named Xiao Yi had  abused his administrative powers to undermine the “two maintenance,” political principle.

“Xiao Yi seriously violated the party’s political discipline, organizational discipline, integrity discipline, work discipline, and life discipline, and constituted a serious job violation and was suspected of taking bribes and abusing power.”

Xiao Yi has been expelled from his position and had his property and illegal income seized by the CCP for review and prosecution.
