State AG Warns Parents About Marijuana Infused Candy

With Halloween right around the corner millions of parents across the country are getting ready to hand out candy and sort through their children’s trick or treating stash. Aside from cavities and the occasional razor-blade apples Parents can add one more thing to give the Halloween anxiety: Marijuana infused candies. 

Attorney General Letitia James (D) in New York has cautioned parents about illicit products that share a striking similarity in look to very popular brands, saying “these unregulated and deceptive cannabis products will only confuse and harm New Yorker’s, which is why they have no place in our state.”

In Connecticut, the Attorney General William Tong (D) told parents to be extremely vigilant at a press conference Tuesday. He told the public these illicit marijuana products could contain concentrations of THC that exceed what will be legally allowed.
