NY Regulators To Allow Medical Marijuana Patients Grow Their Own Medicine

New York’s Cannabis Control Board (CCB) voted unanimously to file proposed regulations that would allow patients of medical mariuana to cultivate up to six plants—indoors or outdoors—for their own therapeutic use.

“We are proud to present those proposed regulations,” said former Assemblywoman Tremaine Wright  “The home cultivation of medical cannabis will provide certified patients with a cost-effective means of obtaining cannabis through personal cultivation while creating a set of standards governing the conduct and activities relating to the personal cultivation of cannabis.”
